FAQS

Here are answers to our most frequently asked questions.
What makes PATH PT different compared to other medical providers?

Patient-Centered Care: Your goals are our priority. We collaborate with you 1 on 1 to find the root cause of your pain, not just mask symptoms. We create a personalized treatment plan that fits your needs and doesn't let insurance dictate your path.One80 Expertise & Customized Strength Training: Our therapists are certified in the One80 system, providing advanced skills and a unique philosophy that emphasizes movement and strength training tailored to you. This approach promotes faster recovery and long-term success.

How many sessions do I need?

Everyone's presentation, goals, and progress are different. During your initial evaluation, we will create a plan of care for you that addresses your issues while working towards your goals within a reasonable timeframe. We'll continuously monitor your progress and adjust the plan as needed. At the end of the day, the more effort you put into following your personalized program, the better and quicker the outcomes.

Do you take insurance?

As an out-of-network provider, we do not accept insurance. However, we can provide you with a superbill, which is an invoice you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement based on your out-of-network benefits.

What should I wear?

It's best to wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothes or active wear. This will allow for a full range of motion during exercise and ensure easy access to the treatment areas for a more efficient session.

How much is a physical therapy visit?

We offer free consultation in-person or over phone to discuss your problems and see if we can provide you a solution. Once we've determined that we are a good fit for each other then we will go over the pricing structure tailored to your needs.

What if I'm not happy with my results?

We understand that sometimes results may not happen as quickly as expected. Open communication is essential! If you have any concerns about your progress, please don't hesitate to speak to your therapist. We'll work together to discuss alternative approaches, adjust your treatment plan, or recommend further evaluation if needed.

What does my first appointment look like?

At PATH PT, each session consists of the same components. Manual therapy and exercise.

1. With your initial evaluation, the 1st step is discussing your medical history and goals.
2. Then we perform a thorough full body movement analysis on you combined with medical/strength testing to determine the exact cause of your symptoms.
3. Afterwards we'll create a plan together to help you achieve your goals!
4. You'll then go through specific exercises that will be KEY to your long term success.
5. You'll be given a personalized strengthening program for you to keep up with when you're not with us. But you will still have access to us for any questions/help that you might need with the program.

What do the follow up sessions look like?

As you keep progressing with your sessions, you will have less "table time" and more "exercise time." What does this mean? It means you're getting better! Why would you want to stay in a hospital bed forever when that's not the reason you came to us in the first place? If you're getting less manual therapy and more exercise programming, it means you're on your way to success or might be already there!

How long is each session?

Each session can vary from 30 minutes - 45 minutes depending on where you are at with your condition. Usually your initial evaluation is the longest and then follow up sessions tend to be on the shorter end. We get you in and out by giving you high value so that you do not waste your time and get faster results.

What payment methods do you take?

We accept credit cards, debit cards, cash, and HSA. We currently process payments through Stripe, Zelle, Cash App, and Venmo.

Do I need a doctor's referral?

No, you do not need a physician's referral before seeing a physical therapist. We are allowed to see you without a referral for up to 8 visits or within a 21 day period, whichever comes first. And as long as you continue to improve, you do not need to obtain one.

How do in-person sessions different from online sessions?

We offer both in-person and online services. Sessions can be one or the other or a combination of both. The only difference from online sessions is there is no manual therapy, but that does NOT mean less value. We are solution based, which means that with each session you are getting high quality value to solve your problems!

What is your cancellation policy?

We do require a 24 hours notice if you need to reschedule your appointment. This will allow for us to schedule in another client to get them the help they need. If there is a cancellation within 24 hours or do not show up to your appointment, you will be subject to charge of 100% of the visit and is non-refundable. This is done at the discretion of the provider. If you are running late, we provide a 10 minute grace period. After that, you will be considered a no-show and be charged as such.
